Help needed GQ auto gearbox.

I have an 89 model GQ 4.2 auto and while coasting on the freeway the auto will switch out of lockup to either 4th gear 3rd gear and sometimes into nutral at 100klm. Taking off at the lights all is fine it will go through the gears as normal. I have fitted a brand new throttle position sensor and it has not changed anything so l am at a loss. Any help is appreciated.
