wheel bearings, how much?

Is $100 about right for a wheel bearing kit? i need the front ajusted and just thought it might be just a good idea to just replace them, its a LN65/ 86 hilux.

Shop around and make sure you compair the price to ones of the same brand and by the sounds of it that would be a good quality set try haggle them down as they can do better than that.

That will do both sides including swivel hub seals and bearings and axle seals and everything little more involved but still a back yard job with some know how.

Nah yours will be solid axle that is the right kit for a complte rebuild of swivel hubs and wheel bearings http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-HILUX-4WD ... dZViewItem is the kit you'll need if only wanting to do wheel bearings both sides

Mate, last time i bought wheel bearing's i paid $28.50 for the each, this was a full kit, and the box even said Toyota on it :D .

Toyota wanted $120 a side :shock: .

I get all my bearing's from a shop in Nunawading, if you want the address i'll post it up later(ihave to find it).

Yeh me too BDR, that cheaper than i pay trade for good bearings.

Stick to the good brands like NTN, Timken and Koyo mate, the cheap shit just isn't worth it.
