why bother, u can work a 1600efi to above 200hp, more than ud want for a sierra, talk to the boys at suzisport as they are into racing gti switf and are getting this hp from the 1300's. check out if u can get an engineers cert first it u really want a 2.0 in there.

More torque and more power from a motor in stock configuration...

I reckon if you can fit the J20A motor in there, it would be greatly preferable to a worked 1600.

X2

I couldn't imagine trying to drive a 1.6 with 200HP off road N/A, or trying to hold that motor together in an off road car (high load, low speed)

Having said that, the J20 isn't a good fit IMHO.

depending what state your in you should be able to engineer the 2 litre with no dramas. seen one in a maruti, had to be bodylifted. ran the radiator from the 2 litre and used the bellhousing with and early five speed vitara box. came up good and went well.

I had a look at the Trail Tough website (products > engine > Vitarar 2L)...

I'm no guru, and perhaps it's the angle of the photo - but its looking like that EFI Manifold is going to be all over the Brake Booster in a car with the driver on the right side.
