Hi there My names Col im new on here so be nice.
Yes i have spent the last week trolling through old threads and after talking to people in the business im more confused than ever.

So ive recently aquired a 99 TI Gu.

I am hoping to run a set of Q78's (for play) or similar and need some advice on lift required.
Now this is my wifes daily driver so i really want to keep the lift as low as possible. Insurance issues also would be better the lower it is.
Some have said yes 2" alone is possible others dont.

So from the people with 35's spit it out what you running. Tyre type and suspension type. GU's only please.

Cheers

my brothers got 35's on his gu with 2" lift with the front diff spaced fowards.. only slight scrubbing at full flex..

just make sure you get the diff spaced foward if you do a 2" lift..

he runs his 35's on standard patrol offset and 16inch rims..

thats definately the go can't remember what it cost but it definately wasn't more than $100.yes i drive a ute but the front is going to be your problem not the rear.radius arm space it. cheap, works and the missus won't be in your ear about getting into it.
