coolant leak

my td42 has started to leak coolant from around the lower front of the engine.
It appears that it only happens when the engine is warmed up, or that it is blairingly obvious because it drips very freely.
Any ideas on what it could be (im new into this patrol diesel thing) and what sort of costs would be involved in fixing it. I know this is a very "broad" question but hearing from what has happened to other peoples TD42 and how it was fixed would be a good place to start learning for me ;)
thanks

exactly where in the lower front part of the engine is it? my first thought would be a radiator hose which is quite cheap and easy to fix.. other than that it could be leaking at the thermostat housing and running down the front of the engine. again this is quite an easy fix. my only other though is that there is a crack in one of the galleries in the block and it is leaking out through the front timing cover gasket but in this case you would be ending up with coolant in your oil..
I would start by pressure testing the system.. if you dont have the equipment there should be a few mechanics out there willing to spare a few minutes to test it for you and this way you should be able to find exactly where it is leaking from.

i could only see it dripping off the bottom pulley, i checked the top of the engine but could not see any coolant up there.
i honestly didnt think of the hose, the worst situation senario was what i was thinking
I did see it also coming off near the engine/bellhousing after driving at 100kph. im hoping that it was just blow back from the front of the engine.

If its dripping off the balancer then my guess would be the water pump. Also the fact its worse with heat.

yeah, was leaning toward that direction myself.
any idea on how much it would cost?
Is it just like a water pump that bolts onto the front of the motor type setup or is it something different.

the water pump is located just behind the fan so that would give you a leak on the top pulley unless it is running down the block.. also check that there isn't a bung or a welsh plug somewhere thats leaking

all fixed up now, the water pump seal had thrown in the towel.
thought it might have been a welsh plug too but it was just running down the top lip of the sump and dripping off the back.
New water pump and shmicko now.
thanks for the help guys
