You have asked this before. What type of play, and where. Did you sort out your clunk from last time.
A bit more infomation, maybe bring your last thread back up again. What you have posted here is useless to both you and the person trying to answer it.

i did change the unis
just cheaked the whole drive train and the most amount of play is from the diffs. But the t-case has some play.
BBM is selling the rockhopper serioes 4 gears cheap $750 would it be worth just getting a set.even though i got series 1 rockhoppers? ive got the money but is it worth it?

Congratulations, you changed some unis.
Yes there will be a bit of play there, that is normal. But how much do you have. You are talking in the rotational sense arn't you? My questions still remains, is this related to your previous thread (which digging up would be a good idea) with the clunk problem. Did you solve your problem?
Basically, yes there will be some rotational play in the t-case, as you have to have small clearances round the teeth of the gears to avoid them binding up. There is 2 different contact zones for teeth between the input and output of the t-case, as well as clearance for engagement colars etc.
But how much play is there.
What are you trying to solve?

i get alot of backlash be going in any given gear and when you back off theres backlash same as when you back off and put your foot down again. is there a way to fix the rear diff without getting a new one?

You can rebuild the one you have, but either way the rear diff centre is coming out.
SO, from what your saying when you accelerate then back off there is a clunk, probably also there when you take off. Am i right?
