Outer Limits 4x4 Board

The Tacko on my HJ61 does not work, where is this unit connected to;
Gearbox, Transfer case, Alternator and what side. Hopefully the connection has just come adrift.

i had the same problem but mine was intermittant - tacho attaches to bellhousing on passenger side - connection often comes loose try tighhtening it up -threaded-
