as long as you have the 77model centre in your diff.
if someone has swapped in an early fine spline centre then i dont think it will.

He asked if it fits, it does.
Didn't mention splines

Late model like 60s are generaly a fine spline.
Early ones like 40/45s are a coarse spline.
If they are diffrent just change the ring and pinion from your old diff to the locked one then your tail shaft will bolt straight back in. The flanges for either splines are a diffrent bolt pattern.

All 60's run the fine spline, with the short side fitting all 40 rear axles (must be fine spline).
60 centers will fit, but you will need the fine spline long sided axle out of 40/45 (60 long side is too long), however, the whole conversion will only work, if the axle is full floating.
early 40 run course splines.... later the fine spline.
