Got me confused speedo right on speed dead right, but the odometer is out by a 100 meters do a 1km on the gps and the odometer is 900meters.
So doing a distance of 100km then the odometer is 10km out .
Standard tyres are255/70/16
New tyres 265/75/16
Tried 2 gps units both correct exactually the same.
THanks

It's very odd for a speedo to be correct but an odometer to be out. It kinda suggests that the speedo needle is out of whack somehow. They both run off the same input info.

correct - however my speedo, which is calibrated by lengthening the spring on the needle, reads spot on, while my odo is MILES out of whack... the only way to correct it is to run a ratio box - which is expensive.

remember this is a d40 navara, most speedos come within 2 km/h of true speed with 265/75 tyres, this is standard size eveywhere but australia.even dealers cant do anything with the odometer.mine is reading 95.3km for every 100 traveled.makes it fun if your trying to work out economy.
