You might find some useful info at www.izook.com/tech/samurai/drivetrain/s ... ickarb.htm

Are you happy with the 5.12s , I gotta get the ratios changed myself.

Thanks for that.. got the service manual specs sent to me as well..
Yeah they are great! You can run 225/75 's and your gearing is almost back to normal. Just a tad lower than std. I run 225/70's on the road and its about 4ks out at 100 (IE 104 = 100) It performs nice with this gearing too. Have you done any Engine mods ? I have done a few things that work..

No engine mods yet, I considered exhaust mods but the noise might be worry.
Unichips sure tempting but I'm not sure AAMI would approve.

I have a walker muffler (much smaller) and the noise is fine. Just right ! It definately went better.. I have checked with AAMI on the chip. No probs. Its the best mod I have done, not cheap but it works. The long term pay off is there with consistently better fuel consumption and heaps more torque. The "flat spot" these Engines have is almost completely gone. Also it was helped with 2 hilcones and ITG 3 stage foam air cleaner. Remove your RH inner plastic gaurd and chop the intake off up closer to the firewall area. This gives better air flow and MUCH less chance of drowing it! (done that.. ) chop it off at an angle to keep moisture out. You will see what I mean. Easy mod.. From std its stuck up against a plate behind headlight! Also ensure you run nothing heavier than 10w30 oil. I use the Castrol R 5w30. Its good stuff. I get it checked in our oil analysis lab. The tops ends of the V6 need high quality light oil. Zillions of cam chains and adjusters too !!
