well thats how i first planded to do it but i thought it might be easyer to put the diffs under the 60 chassis cause i could try and use the original mounts... what would be easyer to do and to get engineered??

cant do a chassis swap no more. best best wold be to cut all mounts off and paste them onto the 60 chassis.

but speak to an engineer first.

another option is ICV but it actually needs to be individual constructed vehicle now, no body swaps. so youll have to get welds inspected etc. if you just grind all the markings off an 80 series chassis, get the thing inspected as individually constructed then your right :twisted: (dodge)

(the comments above are in no way me saying it can or should be done, just how i interperate the rules in my shonky mind) :?

whats the chances of getting cought if i dont get it engineered?

so if the welds are perfect and there is nothing dodgy would it pass? what would i have to do to get it through

i dont have the book saved anymore but;
basically it states that to be an icv it has to be a custom made chassis and or an unrecognisable body to a production vehicle. it has to complete a swerve, brake, headlight, emissions test etc. and those standards have to be of a vehicle prouced today.

its very hard to meet all the criteria. was easy a few years ago but they have cut down on the dodgey people doing hotrods etc.

about the engineering. who cares about getting caught so much as killing someone in an illegal car and being charged with manslaughter.
