Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Got hold of a 40 series and it has 3 wiper arms on it, never seen this b4 and was wondering if it is standard issue.

not standard on 40- 45-47's, I believe triple wipers were on the LX? 45's apparently they were also fitted standard with 5 speeds, power steering, front disc brakes and a few other goodies.

They were fitted on the LX models, the equivalent of a sahara at the time.

I actually thought most BJ42 models had triple wipers.

thats because you havent pulled apart an LX.

I have 3 LX's one is a fj40 lx, the other two are a bj42 lx's.

If anyone ever gets a chance, take a good look inside the LX too, power steer, aircon, 5 speed, and all vinyl trim (even in the rear, not just the steel panels) the whole car has trimming!!!

They are COOL

any body got picks of the lx model

i have 2 fj40 LX's as spare parts trucks if anyone is looking for some LX bits and pieces
