What do you mean exactly by a 2wd conversion?

you can get a kit from marks 4wd adapters. $500, don't want to spend that much if it's just free wheeling hubs.

Nah its more than that, they change parts of you transfer case as well so when your center diff lock is disengauged the front output wont turn. Engauge the center diff and your back to 4x4.

just finished one on a mates 80. It was pretty easy thing to do realli. He got it from 4wd systems the only problem we had was trying to remove a bearing from the gear that is replaced.

put a transfer out of a dx 80 in it thats all i did on my 80 works perfect, n one of my mates put a kit threw his constant transfer n it doesnt really like it

based on you specs I take it you dont want to do the conversion for econamy, I will presume you are getting vibration through the front shaft at high speeds, in which case most people find fitting a double carden drive shaft to the front works well
