sierra vs vitara

hi there. im looking to buy my first 4x4 and was wondering wat i would be best off with. i will prob be doing sand work mostly, and dont want to spend alot of money this wont be an everyday driver just a bit of weekend fun. wat would be better a sierra or vitara for bang for buck?

It really depends on your future plans. I myself never intended to build up a super capable rig but I couldn't help myself when I first went offroading I was hooked. Both the sierra and vitara will eat up the sand no worries but if you get the itch a sierra is alot less hassle to modify, past a certain point anyway. However the vitara makes a better daily driver on road. So as a pure offroad toy I'd say go sierra and spend what a vitara would cost and get one with a better engine (vitara 1.6 swift gti 1.3 etc).
And in future look through the bible and use the search function first as this has been covered eleventybillion times before. Also when asking a question be sure to give as much info as possible ie: your budget, your intentions with the vehicle, your state for legal applications, areas you drive etc etc.
