alot of guard cutting will be needed to make them fit under just a 2" lifted GQ. I did it under a 2x2inch lift GQ, no guard cutting was needed with it

just bolt them on and cut where its needed

Or, just bolt them on and the bits that rub will eventually remove enough rubber and ha presto.

Back of front guard needs to be trimed, spacing radius arm may make them clear. But I cut the guards also.
Rear guard needs to be opened up front and rear. Trim some of the plastic at the front will almost make it clear. But the back needs abit cut out. I had trimmed rear qrt's, so didnt need much to be bent/trimmed.

hey mate, my brother fitted a set of 37''x 12.50-15s with just a 3''inch body lift & a small trim so you should be able to get them on with that lift,,

Richo got my old 35s on his with a two inch lift only without trimming. As hokey said, just fit them and trim where you need to.

LOL mate 33's scrub on a 2" lift, try NOFLEX on 35's

you really do need a 2" body lift, even then you might still have to do a guard cut

Why would you fit a body lift and then cut the guards?
Body lifts are a stupid idea on a Patrol, the chassis mounts eventually flog out, the floor pan cracks and the car handles like shit. If you are ignorant enough not to listen to the hundreds of people on here who advise against fitting them then I would like to take this opportunity to sell you this magic pill I have invented that improves performance and reduces consumption by 80%. It will only cost you $1000 so it will pay for itself in no time......... honest.
Richo did fit my old worn 35s on his GQ tow vehicle that only had a 2 inch spring lift to come out wheeling. He had to take the stupid plastic flairs and mudflaps off to do it, but it WAS done and there have been pictures posted in many threads previously that prove it. I guess we'll have to post it one more time for the noobs.
And here's one with a 3.5 inch spring lift with no body lift with 37s and no guard chopping and it has over 10 inches of travel in the front shocks just in case you think it has no flex.
I won't even go into ZOOK60's old GQ that he fitted 38s with just a 2 inch spring lift by trimming the guards but if you still need proof, just do a search and look it up.
There is heaps of room in GQ guards to trim so why would you even contemplate doing a body lift? Fit 'em flex it and chop 'em. Simple.
