Can anyone tell me if the rotors and callipers from the font of a 94 to 97 Vitara will bolt straight onto my 99 Grand Vitara? and if known, what is the size difference?

trying to figure out different ways of fitting 15" sunnies onto my GV.
I took the advice of someone on here that 15x8 F100 sunnies will fit, so I bought some.....Dont fit do they.....so I was thinking that if I put smaller rotors and callipers on then they will fit.

hang on a minute! don't even think about doin somethin like that, the gv's brakes are that size for a reason. and yes, sunnies won't fit a gv.

they only miss by about 10-15 mm, would wheel spacers do the trick or is there a better way?

might have to pull out the trusty angle grinder and find out and combind that with a smaller wheel spacer of maybe 5-10mm.

I don't know who told you that 15" rims would fit but they obviously have no experience of this as they do not fit.
The better way is to use 16" rims. Both wheel spacers and machining the calipers are illegal.

Let me get this straight. You want to use smaller brake rotors and calipers so you can fit a cheap rim???
So what you gain out of running a cheap steel rim you lose with substandard braking which now makes your car illegal.
Hmmm, yes, I can see the logic in that.

Yep, and there's nothing wrong with my factory steel 16" rims either.

So firstly, thanks to all that have left me some feedback wheather it be constructive critercism or illegal advice, Still... Constructive,
But.... TheOtherLeft..... Might want to load your slug gun and have a target before you start shooting from the hip....
So you've looked at the thread posting and thought to yourself... Hmmm worth a read, so if it's so illogical, why even waist YOUR time reading it and leaving half cocked comments.
You've taken the picture of a car, cut the front wheel out, framed the font wheel and hung it back on the wall,........Looks Great doesn't it.
Next time,... open your tiny little moronic mind and look at the total picture before you go shooting your mouth off.....
All I did was ask a simple question to the people in the know,
because I dont know... and I thought thats what these tech postings were for, its people like you that give sites like this a bad reputation.
THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK!!!!!!

I'll try to avoid the sh1t getting slung about, but I will add that tyres for 16" rims generally have a bit squarer shoulder, are a bit narrower, and the shorter sidewall provides more stability.
I do know 15" rims and tyres to suit are cheaper, but the lack of tyres for 15" rims that are over 31" tall but 10.5" or under in width is a real problem.
