what can i turn a pwr steering pump into
Anyone have any ideas on what can i turn a pwr steering pump into??? im guessing a air compressor. No use to me when i dont have the other power steering parts
pwr str pump uses
1. drive it with a drill and use it to empty your sump without dropping the plug, feeding the hose down thru the oil fill hole, thru the head and into the sump is a bit of a bastard tho
2. see 1. but this time as an oil fill pump, much easier than lifting the bottle up over the engine and spilling it everywhere
3. best use, leave it on the engine and reconfigure the pulleys so it is 3000% overdriven and you have an effective toyota diesel blower. Should make about 20 psi boost at a 'blower' shaft speed of about 40000 rpm, should bring the 2.2 up into the dizzying 50+ hp range...awesome
