i once turned an 80 series landcruiser into a one way street

you could try something along those lines

it wont make an aircompressor, but a hydro pump for a hydro winch, or a pump for a crossover power steering setup with ram assist, is a good direction to move in ;)

pwr str pump uses

Post by derangedrover »

1. drive it with a drill and use it to empty your sump without dropping the plug, feeding the hose down thru the oil fill hole, thru the head and into the sump is a bit of a bastard tho

2. see 1. but this time as an oil fill pump, much easier than lifting the bottle up over the engine and spilling it everywhere

3. best use, leave it on the engine and reconfigure the pulleys so it is 3000% overdriven and you have an effective toyota diesel blower. Should make about 20 psi boost at a 'blower' shaft speed of about 40000 rpm, should bring the 2.2 up into the dizzying 50+ hp range...awesome
