fitting a GU nissan "poo"trol bonnet scoop to a 75

has anyone successfully fitted one of these nissan GU bonnet scoops to another make of vehicle... like 75 series toyota? have just bought one and it looks like you have to rescess the 2 front fittings lower then the line of the bonnet has anybody got any picks to help me out? i want to mount it just in fron of the windscreen squirter so i dont have to relocate it... i have just fitted a turbo and wanted to help out with the cooling aspects by mounting a bonnet scoop and the GU bonnet scoop came up as the best buy and best bet in the end....any help wood be great
