4g54 is the 2.6 litre petrol motor - have NFI where the 18rc bit would come into things.

Vibration only under load suggests to me that it's an issue with mounts flexing/broken. I've had a balance shaft out of alignment, and it only really became an issue at high revs - load or not.

Oil shouldn't be leaking from the exhaust manifold. I would guess it's coming from the rocker cover gasket and dripping past the exhaust manifold. You'll probably find the back of the engine is covered in oil, as is the gearbox. Replacing the gasket is a simple job, but make sure you clean the PCV fitting and the rear half moon, then apply a thin smear of silicone to both when you re-assemble. Also make sure the PCV is venting properly - if not, blowby pressurises the rocker cover, and even a new gasket will continue to leak.

Good luck,

Scott
