wondering how those of you who have an nt truck with lux diffs have done your front spring set up .....looking at a few im pretty set on just boxing over the end of the chassis and welding a rectangle shaped peice across the front giving me two things i need 1, about 60mm wider to suit the lux perches and 2, 60 or so forward to suit the ruf .....my boggle is the front ends rear hanger pics of how its been done by you would be nice bearing in mind the body mounts come of the chassis right where i want to put the rear hanger roughly in line with the stock position.....i was thinking of cutting off the front set of my rear hangers from my old truck reversing them and welding them back in on the front with a little nip and cut and a plate or two pics and opinions please.....and before you all jump on me im wearing the asbestos and i searched but no good pics i know there are people who would bag this conversion but i can see nothing but plus here,,, bigger cvs, axles, wider ratio chioce, bigger brakes 4-5 inches of lift and a wider wheel track all in one conversion ...i know this has been done to death buts its been written to death with no pics and im a visual kinda bloke after all a pics worth a thousand words

Geee i didn't know the springs were attached to the body !!!!
As the previous post said thou just move the perches on the diff . This is give you more tyre clearance in turns anyway , not that you should need it thou . The only problem is the r/h mount gets close to the diff head and may need to be raised a bit .
No pic's to help you as I coiled mine will I was at it .

guys thanks but i cant move the perches on the diff in to suit nt spacing the rh perch as you point out will be on the pumpkin.....ofr the front set of hangers youve shown me on the orange truck is what im doin with the front of mine,,, whats been done to the rear of the front springs to move them out to suit the hilux perches specifically the spring hangers...that diff looks to have the perch in the stock position and the springs are out boarded to suit .....johno put away your bong buddy springs are attached to the chassis dude and a wt and a nt are about 95mm difference on the front

further to that i want to outboard the springs i dont like the idea of raising the perch on the diff i want to keep the perches on the diff long and low avoids axle wrap and track bars....sometimes a track bar can be the difference in being able to drive in a standard or modified class im taking out a leaf from my old king stiff as crap rears and running a ruf for extra flex...

I had no room for my U bolts on my perch as it was to close to the punkin so I set it up like this I think it how the MQ patrols are done from factory

Do as above, or just outboard your spring and shackle hangers like on a WT chassis.
Layto....

In the US I think Rocky Road, low range and a few others have weld on kits that may make it easier to do...

It looks like the pic of the orange rig has standard toy perches so the spring hangers must have been moved out.
Thats the best pic I can find to show perches are stock toy but widened hangers.
And this one kinda shows the hanger, btw Im not running those springs just somthing I tried to lower it.
