Hi, are these compressors suitable for activating air lockers? All feedback appreciated.

had one, which spent all its life (approx 4 years) in engine bays, worked well lots of tires & air locker operation.
iirc it was 2.1/.2 cfm @ 50psi. pretty good for an electric.
brushes wore down, parts supplier here in adelaide wanted $70 for new ones. i thought they could stick that where the sun dont shine.
now have a sanden sd7. will never use an electric compressor again.

i had a typhoon one from abr sidewinder, which is the same thing as a bluetounge I think. Anyway it shat itself second time I used it, I eventually got another one from abr (big headaches) and then that one shat itself. they got so hot the blade fuse and fuse holder melted after doing 3 tyres.
do yourself a favour and get an ARB compressor, they are the shiz

umm...yeah...good to see you know your comps. the typhoon is NOT a blue tongue and not even near the same mark, or made by the same company.
