Hi friends

I am collecting information about the programmable ECU performance, somebody has a experience with Motec, Autotronics, or other aftermarket brand ??

If you have information or experience, may you share it.

Thanks

ems seems to be the best value for money in aus not to hard to wire if you have some understanding how they work. Why do you want to do this have you modified the engine ? If not the expence of purchasing, setting up wiring, dyno would be a lot of money for the amount gained.

Hi blown26paj

I have a cousin that have a garage with a Dyno a very good mechanics, He has 2 rally car in Chile (Subaru STI), and the other day he told me the possibility to play with the electronic in my Mitsu (the mechanis have a lot of experience with electronic in special with a programable ECU), for this reason I am collecting info about it in the forum.

I have the mechanics with the experience and the Dyno, now I need to find the new ECU.

If somebody has experience, please share with me.

Thanks

I have this one... Excellent value for money. It does the same things with others that cost 3 times more.

You have to know that the most difficult part is not making the main program for the engine load (many people can do that). It is the tuning of all the parameters needed for cold start, warm start etc. that make the engine working like the factory setup.

Your too right there, cold start is a pain to tune.

Mate, I had a dual map UniChip in my NK when I had it on gas, despite the dyno saying power was up, I couldnt feel any difference, waste of money IMO.

Get a locker instead!
