2LTE, 3L, 5L injector pump differences??

hello
Just seeing if someone in the know can tell me wether there is any drastic differences in the mechanical injector pumps of the 3L and 5L?
Also can the 2LT boost compensated mechanical pump bolt up to a 3L or 5L and have its fuel rate advanced to suit the larger displacement and forced induction?
