HAVING TROUBLE PULLING HUBS APART

decided to rebuild swivel hubs today pulled one side apart peace of piss but drivers side wont come out i cant get the drive clutch off took hub off circlip out but drive clutch wont come out due to a lip that has been created on end of inner axle just after circlip groove wondering what has caused this any help would be awesome

A sloppy circlip will cause burrs on the axle spline. Clean it all up with carby/brake cleaner, then use a ftp file to carefully take off the dags. You may also need to remove some daggy bits from the spline valleys too - dont force the hub coupler off the axle as the dags will score the insides.

Just take your time as ANY of the parts in that assembly are VERY exxy. Might pay to get your circlip guide checked too if its flogged out. Might be time for a new/second hand axle/CV assembly and new circlip.
