Hey all Just wondering I have a GU patrol with a 7" lift and for the last year I have had just the lower adjustable control arms. Now I have bought the upper adjustable cotrol arms. So the question is when adjusting the length of the control arms, what is the aim. Do I lengthen both. Do I try and get the coil saddle on the diff level. What is the technique.

The lower arms need to be adjusted back to original wheel base or the rear tyres sit evenly within the wheel arch.
The upper arms need to be adjusted so the drive flanges on the rewar diff and back of the transfer case are parralell. If anything, the diff pinion flange should be slightly higher (3mm) so it becomes level when power is applied.
The spring purches also need to be reasonably level so they dont bend sidways under compression. You' may need to find a happy medium.
Truth is, unless your running bigger than 35s-36s, you dont need that munch lift. Each to their own though.
