92 pajero nh 3.0ltr v6 gas conversion ???????

I have just puchased a 3.0 ltr v6 pajero and im wanting to put it on gas but have heard some bad things about 3.0ltr v6 motors not liking the conversion .....is this a good conversion to do / or not to do.....
