front & rear diffs

hey i was just wondering if u could put the front diff into the rear axle housing has anyone done it and if can be done any complications cheers
Rear centre will fit in the front housing but rear has 26 spline axles and front has 22.
Change the side(planetary) gears and it'll work.
Visa versa for the front centre in the rear.
