Outer Limits 4x4 Board

The speedo cable in my Feroza is leaking gearbox oil into the car behind the dash.

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?

How long have you had the vehicle???

Sounds to me like somebody has given your cable a squirt of grease...

I've had the car for over 4 years. The first time I noticed it was because oil was dripping down through the dash and onto my feet (although only a small amount).
So I pulled the dash apart and cleaned up all the oil. I checked it again a couple of months later and it was still leaking, there was more oil behind the dash.
I changed the cable with one from another Feroza but this one is leaking too, but not as much as my original one.
And its definately gearbox oil not grease.

Perhaps check the breather pipe to the gearbox / transfer case isn't blocked.

They're "T" junctioned into one pipe on top of the gearbox and then feed up into the engine bay near the windscreen washer bottle (IIRC?)
