im pretty sure it is, it will be center point injection. will look like a carby but with, normally, 2 injectors in the middle

Take the top of the air filter off. If you can see any wires plugged into anything in the midd of the throat it is fuel injected. If it has a choke flap it is carburettor. Looking at the profile of the air filter, I believe that is fuel injected. People with little mechanical knowledge think they are carby because they do look a little similar.

it is single point injection, some of the pointer towards that are the map sensor on the firewall..
more to the point though what is the extra plastic part on the cam cover? i have never seen that before.

Can't see the image at work but some swifts were 16V SOHC throttle body efi.
I was looking at one in a wreckers the other week.

just an extra thought, if your going to fit this to a sierra, and if you want to fit a multi point injection manafold it won't work as these heads don't have the cutaways machined into the inlet on the head for the injectors.
This can be machined in to the head but you'll have to remove the head off the engine and get a machine shop to do it for you
but if you decide to use the centre point injection manafold then no worries

very FEW 1.6 swifts were carby, the majority were throttle body injected. this one is efi but the swift heads are famous for cracking, just be aware of that.
