landcruiser 60 series 1986 2h HJ 60 model,
HI All
i have a problem that the preheat timer does not shut off. the rig has 2 glow plug timers the one in the engine bay turns off but the second one wont turn off, i have to unplug the seloind to cut the power to it.
has anyone had a similar problem, the book says to check second relay but doesnt tell me where it is , found the box that is the preheat timer located inside front passanger panel but dont know how to tell if its stuffed or is there another relay somewhere else.
the glow plugs are new and i dont want to have to fork out for a new set cos they will burn out. plugs are the same type that came out. so pretty sure its not them causing the problem.
by the way its a 12 volt electical system
any assistance would be most grateful
