you know what how about some of you newer guys take the friggin time to have a look at the sticky's at the top of the page and understand a few things about this forum before hand. it has nothing about me being grumpy or needing a nap its about being a long term member of the forum, understanding how it works and using it that way. Not friggin whinging when someone points out that's not the way to do it.

the forum is a valuable resource and works in a particular way. By taking the time and common courtesy to actually check out the forum rules, read the stickies and geta feel for how it operates makes it better for everyone. Also getting rid of the chit chat out of the tech only sections makes it easier to search for stuff as well.

i dont see a problem with suzuki videos in the suzuki section, gives people the opportunity to see how people cars go and what mods they have.
if you put it in the chit chat section, 1- I would never see it, as I dont look there because its full of dribble, and 2- you will have mr gq and mr hilux and his mates putting videos in it when all you want to see is videos of suzukis.

if its about suzukis it belongs the in the suzuki section.
and stop all the bitching Grimbo, people have different veiws on things. I see it as a technical subject. to watch how a car build a certain way drives is good, lets you see what that car with those mods do and lets you see what that person drives and whether they are serious about what they do, or just like to drive through mud and think its rad. the rad people you then ignore when it comes to tech!

and if it was done in this manner that would be cool. People showing videos backed p with some tech as to their setups and why a certin things is done in that way. But to just show a video of a couple of Zuks mucking around is not tech related

another newbie who obviously hasn't read the sticky at the top of this section. Here it is for those who just don't bother

Ok things in the Tech Sections are getting out of hand. There are too many threads with no Tech and too many replies with no Tech. There are also too many threads in the wrong Tech Sections.

So these are the new Rules for all of the Tech Sections.

1; Specific Make Sections are for Specific Make Tech Questions. Dont ask a question about putting a V8 in a Patrol in the General Tech Section. Ask it in the Nissan Section. As you dont ask should i buy MTRs or TSLs in the Nissan section, Ask this in General Tech.

2; No Chit Chat in the Tech Sections at all. Any Threads or replies that do not contain Tech or Questions reguarding Tech will be deleted. Not Moved they will be Deleted. Dont test the Moderators on this rule or you will risk being Banned from this site. If you reply and you are not adding to the Tech then your reply can and most likely will be removed.

3; I Rolled my ****** yesterday isnt Tech.

4; We went wheeling yesterday........ isnt Tech.

5;How good was Woodpecker/XRCC/PUOSU isnt Tech there is a Comps section for this.

5; There is a chit chat section to discuss what you did on the weekend.

Lastly yes i know a lot of us have been guilty of the above things in the past but things need to change. There are people that rarely use this site any more soley because the Tech sections are full of Junk. I am asking you all to help and try and clean this place up before it gets too far out of hand.

A couple of points.

1. The tech sections are for tech and tech only. If you have a tech video (not just a general wheeling video) please feel free to start a thread. If it's deemed as chit chat it will be moved, if it's deemed as a trip it will be moved.

There is one simple reason for this, filing. Everything needs to be filed in the appropriate area so that it can be found at a later stage if required. Some of you will have used the search function and will be aware of teh large amounts of crap that comes up in the zook section (yes, working on this also). If videos are posted along with zook chit chat then even more crap will come up and we'll end up with even more usless threads about the same old thing.
