Silverstone Extreame Tyres

Just looking at a set of silverstone extreame tyres in 35 x 10.5 for my zook 
looking and thought they dont look a heap bigger than the 32 mongrels ive got on it now. 
Tape measure tells me that the dia of these supposed 35' is really 33 1/4 from outside of treads sideways
whats the deal with this????????
Do they grow 1 and 3/4 inches when you put 10 lbs of air in them
seems like another case of false near enough advertising to me
am I wrong ??????
