Removing rear side windows

I would like to know the best way to remove the rear side windows on a 77 2 door rangie.

I looked in the Haymes manual and it only tells me how to remove the sliding window and RAVE only refers to the 4 door models.

I want to remove the glass and the frame, do I remove it all together or take out the glass first?

I can see some small bolts under the window frame, what to these remove?

Any help appreciated

The lot comes out as one. Pull those bolts and push out from the inside.

Hi, If u need new windows, I have both sides out of a 82 2 door, one is near new, the other is in a1 con. These ones r the alloy type, don't rust.
Cheers, Gary.

After taking those bolts out, push the bottom of the frame out . the top has 2 locating dowels. Dont loose the small rubber grommets in top dowel holes.

OK Time for update

Sorry but none of the suggestions worked!

I undid the nuts on the bottom of the windows, leaving the bolts locating the window frame, so it could not be pushed out.

So I managed to get the rear glass out by pulling it toward the front of the car, until it came out of the rear rubber, then pulled the top outward from the rubber and lifted it out of the bottom.

On the top there were pop rivets going through the window slide into the frame, after knocking them off with a cold chisel the top frame fell out, I then removed the rubber.

Job done and no broken windows.

Hangover: Thanks for the offer, but the windows won't be goind back in.
