Well it's been 12 months and its time to rebuild the swivel hubs again..

ive found all wheel bearings are around the same quality (excluding super cheapy ones and super expensive ones) but i think the seals are the big difference. my front diff has had 2 rebuilds in 10,000 because the axle seal kept leaking and the wipers on the knuckle didnt work properly. i went and got repco axle and swivel seals and they rock, fit perfect and work great.

others might have bad experiences though.

The kits from Don Khyatts seem pretty good.

Is There any chance its actually your body lift thats making the noise due to it loosening itselfon each of the bolts? Although probably wouldnt hurt to open up the hubs and Replace/re-pack everything for your own peace of mind and assurance, just did mine, They loved the new grease and bearings.

body lift...?
not on my truck!
coils lift yes, but the noise is definatly coming from the inner side of the hub!
another rain day for me, so it's time to take a look!

ended up just going to the trusty ol shop"all 4x4" in newcastle!
yeah was 175 with all koyo bearings and so on!
they just didnt have any different sized shims, while we are doing the rebuild we were going to have a play with some different sized shims in the front and try and stop some of that jitter on bad roads!
looks like a good day for it to!rain rain rain...

well i tried bursons..we know the owner of the branch down the road and he couldn't budge from $210..! some trade price :x

are you sure old mate behind the counter charged you the right price?

oh just thought i would inform people abit more about an ongoing problem with the hubs!
didn't get round to putting the bearing kit in yesty, went for a blast in the mud instead ;)
now problem here is that whenever 4wd is engaged and used off road, once returning to the black stuff and hit highway speeds(100km) the front end vibrates..but i you engage 4wd the vibration goes away!!

but once the cars parked for afew hours and i jump back in it vibrations gone!
anyone got any idears??
although hopefully it goes away once we put the kit in!

dad loves working on fathers day..lol ;)
