Hi,
Do you use reusable air filters like finer filter ones in your trucks? What are the benefits of this filters, only economics?.
Best regards.

I use a finer filter element in my car. They are supposed to be free flowing and give more power but its been that long since i first put it in that i can't remember if it improved it or not. I have had it for over 3 years now and its still in new condition. just give it a clean every 6 months and your back to new again. good thing is you can see when its dirty.

I've got a K&N, and can't prove there's any improvement - not that I've tried too hard...
If nothing else I won't need to change it for a long time!

Don't you have dyno figures ?
I've got a K&N aswell, when I first put it in it felt better but I've gotten used to it now, they're easy to clean and have a 1million mile warranty

I run a UniFilter (same kinda deal as the K&N)
When I first changed it over from the stock filter I noticed slightly better response from the accelerator pedal.
You get used to it pretty quick though.
If you do a lot of driving in dusty conditions they are great - clean them and away you go again.

Sore point!
I have a Sigma which I'm doing silly things to. As I make incremental changes I wanted to get dyno figures to get hard data on the difference each change made. The only dyno nearby wouldn't get past "$200 for the first hour."
No discussion, not interested in negotiating, they wanted $200 for each and every time it went on the dyno - regardless of how long it was in there, or how many times I came in.
Now that I'm having trouble getting the twin DCOEs right guess where I'm NOT gonna go for a dyno tune...
If they'd come to the party on the Sigma I might have gone in with the Pajero, too.
