im a newby at the whole fourby/suzi thing and and am quite mechanically challenged and dont really have the tools or capability of doing anything except basic servicing
i just got a new 1.3 in me sierra with a 1.6 head supplied and fitted by suzisport with plans of supercharging it in the future but im looking to get some premodded diffs (mainly lockers) put in before chargin it. ive been advised that it is a bit of a waste of money putting lockers in the front on a sierra as they are so effing light. i dont really have any idea on prices but want to sort of research all options
any ideas on prices, places to look, websites etc????

do a bit of a read around here but the front axles are easily updated with Trail Tough axles. As to being too weak or light not really sure, I ran 34s with a front locker and didn't break anything. Depends on tyre size, terrain and driving style.
What size tyres are you running as being in QLD I can't imagine it is any bigger than a 30" tyre

What do you mean by pre modded? Are you looking for someone selling diffs with lockers already in them?
If you're running a small tyre, 31" or under, and the car is properly geared, you should be fine with stock front axles, even with a locker.
If you're going beyond that, or like getting on the throttle and using lots of wheelspeed, you will be wanting HD front axles like Trailtough doubletoughs.
Anyone who claims a sierra doesn't need a front locker has never driven a sierra with a front locker.
Occaisionally, built axles come up for sale, but not very often.
Steve.
