1) will the mighty kong transfer case mount bolt up to the origional mounts and dos it offer the added strength to the case (as in extra boldint points) to safly run reduction gear??

2) are 6.5 gear overkill for only 30inch tyres ??
i was gunna just go the 4.9s but the 6.5s are $120 cheaper dos anyone know how hard it would be revin stock wt diffs 30" and 6.5s at the 100km mark

I does bolt up to the factory location.
"This extreme-duty unitized design will not flex or distort and actually adds strength to your case." It does not add any more bolting options to the t-case.
You may want to get solid mounts because the factory rubber could rip in half with the added torque of a reduction gear.

They can get it, according to my call yesterday...

The thing that worries me is shifting the damage. The stock mounts are easy to replace, whereas a corkscrewed tailshaft is not so easy...
I do like the kong bracket though, and will probably try it with stock mounts for a while first...

Yes we do sell them.

The TT Gorilla Grip T-Case Mounts have been discontinued. From TT you have two options with the Mighty Kong, solid or factory mounts.

Im running 6.# gears and NT centres on 30"s. Also using it as a daily atm.

Its not too bad on the highway, hardly ideal. excellent offroad. Gives you a good excuse to upgrade to 33"s though ;)

I have the mighty kong and gorilla grip mounts as supplied by the guys from locktup. The extra strength as mentioned comes from the one piece design and stops the case from flexing between two different mounts. I did however strengthen the passenger side bracket off the chassis as it can bend with gears.

Also, loooooooove the 6.5's, I think they would be fine with 30's on a high revving motor like in the zuks, even better if you get a bigger cam and then you have more power too.
