because I have cromo flanges for the 80 diffs going into my buggy, but because of the shape of the outside of the 80 wheel hub, i am only able to use the to stock dowel pins, and i would like to add another 2 but it is impossible due to the step in on the outside of the hub.

I was hoping that maybe a 60 series wheel hub will work, i am not sure of the offset and that, but maybe the 80 disk will bolt to the 60 hub and everything will line up.

no it wont work from my understanding

the wheel face of the 60 series hub is about an inch closer to the diff housing, which means when you put your disc on the back, the caliper will be misalligned by that much.

can you upgrade the rest of the bolts to 10mm like they do on yhe rear of cruisers will make it stronger and no worries about extra dowels

Im pretty certain the bearings are different, but its not insurmountable.

For the width difference you could run a spacer like the IFS hubs for the hilux..

use grade12 m8 x 45mm SHCS and drill and tie wire the heads in groups of 3. . . . . you will blow the long before you blow the cap screws! (if done correctly).

this wouldnt fix the caliper misalignment though.

the only way that the 10mm upgrade will make it stronger is if i use the larger cone washers and get the flange tapers made to suit that larger cones. and i dont think that all the extra work is worth it.
