Hey guys i founds another site advertising Flares for range Rovers ..
try them out
i just got a set for mine so it is too late for me but u lot might be able to save a few bucks ...

can someone answer me a simple question...
i have just put my new 3.9 ltr engine together and ran it yesterday for the first time .. finally worked out how to map the fuel on the Haltech and got it ideling ok ... however i did have an oil leak ... but it was not from a gasket as i would have assumed... it is comming from what looks like a bolt hole between the oil pump and the crank, there is a recessed section on the cover that appears to have a hole in it ... if some one could have a quick look on their car and tell me if there is a bolt in it i would appreciate it very much

Just gave the guy a call, $185 set of 4 if we buy 5+ sets. No guard cutting required, 2 1/2 inches wide.

It's not required but I don't think that means you can't. They apparently mount like the US bushwacker(???) flares

i think you will find that these are only dress flares ie, they just fit to the shape of the original gaurd edge without any cutting required.
they would be good if you have slightly wider rubber that doesnt chew out your arches and need a bit of flying mud protection.
They have lots of other Rangie goodies though.

Ok, Went to see the flares today, they are quite good, they come in 2 door and 4 door. They attach via pins thru the guard (drilling required) with a nut on the inner guard. I have ordered a set for my rangie and the will arrive next thursday. WIll take photos when the arrive for you all to see.
If you guys like them he will supply to me for $140 for 2 doors and $160 for 4 doors (complete set) plus freight.

But what about us 4drs that need to cut our guards how do we go about new door seals and shit ? ? ? or canthese be reused or easily bodged up ?

Me thinks these flares are dress flares only and wil bolt to the origonal guard.
If you want flares for chopped guards then you stuck with Les Richmond Motors,ETC.
But I could be wrong.

How much you planning on cutting?
Will take photos next week when they arrive.
Will fit em up to my guards as the have a heap cut out of them to you can see for yourself.

I was looking at cutting about 1.5" front and rear but after looking at the rear i dont think 1.5" will be a good idea.............. any able to tell me otherwise.
Probably end up cutting out 1" all round in the end, i dont think i need to cut out anymore than that. I also would like someone abit more confident than myself to do it. I AM A PANZY

Just chop it Anthony:
took me a long time to cut the first rear door aprox 100 mm off it.
second one took 15 min.
The cut line is about 10mm out from the screws you can see in the pic.

First rear door I was sweating like my "first time", had to wipe my forehead like a million times!
Second door took ~15min, its all in the "been there, done that" thing.

Ok, they just arrived at my door, here are some photos for you guys to look at and see what you think.
Have not had the chance to fit them yet but will post pics when I have.
The flares themselves are about 50mm wide. and fit flush with the outside of the panel not under the lip.
