They're only on-selling anyway, why not go to a tyre place to get tyres??? Of course it's going to be cheaper that way.

walk into beaurepairs and ask for some q78's. they look at you funny.
I realise they are only onsellers, but $100 per?

The issue with stepping beyond 35s is the gearing starts to all go out the window, so it ends up costing alot more than the little extra to fit bigger rubber.

ive done that at "goodyear tyre and auto" at smithfield a couple times...
they are only interested in selling you whatever tyre came on the vehicle from factory
gets a little annoying when im asking the guy for a price on a 35" muddy and he asks "what vehicle?" so i tell him a GU
he looks in his book and gives me a price for a 31" HT
useless pricks they are

I reckon they're a pretty good GQ size - they were sweet on my 2500KG Gwagen.
Much bigger (especially wider) and there's a likely tradeoff with drivability due to reduced ground pressure or unhelpful contact patch shape, certainly in winter.

When compared to the equivilent simex that all are running which is the 35/11.5 centipede they are not that small.....
Also they will only be a play tyre and gearing is an issue for family tourer as it is not getting geared for offroad only.....
35 in tyre of some sort is the bounds of what I want to achieve without cutting the car up......
Will also work on the zook if that's what I want later
