Bigger tyres for IFS 100

Hi all,

Old man wants to fit bigger tyres to his IFS V8 100 series.

It has the standard 275/70 R16.

Can he go to the next size up without changing anything?

The gearing is too low at the moment and is the only reason for the size increase. Tread pattern will still need to be mainly street able - 99% on road, 1% Fraser island

cheers bru

I had 285/75R16 on my IFS 100 series with out any dramas (by the way the 105 is the solid front end)

Bundy's 100 on 285/75R16 (33x11.5) MTZ, with no lift yet....no rubbing.

Crackas with 33x12.5R17 with a 2" lift, same no rubbing.
