Just wondering has it been done, thinking of a new project as i have heaps of Gq spares left and want to build a big block straight gas coily 45 ute as it will be easyer to engineer in Queensland than doing coil conversion.

years ago at the 4x4 jamboree at bathurst 1997 ????
there was a 45x troopy on a gq chassis, from memory speaking to the bloke reckoned it was a stright forward conversion

I can get it all mod plated and registered my self at my work but i no this will be easier than the coil conversion as my mates coily hilux is all mod plated and engineered but transport have written it off the road for over 6 months and every time he goes back they make up some other bull shit story about the dont like this or that.

Seen this done with a GQ wagon and HJ75 sort of cab. Toss the rubbish nissan body, toyota underpinnings and combine the two good things together.
To finish it off, ditch that shitty japanese petrol and drop a V8 of some description into it
