Im about to buy a navara but im unsure what model i should get now.

does anyone know of any other differences between the st-r and the dx 3.0lt
other than the following.., Chrome grill, mirrors, rear bar, power windows and mirrors, different interior trim (silver, carpet, seats), rear alloy roll bar, colour coded flares, white gauge dials.

as far as i can tell the engine and driveline are the same.. any help is appreciated.

cheers mark.

i think you need to clarify things a bit here.

the only DX is the D22 and its only advailable with 2.5 diesel motor. 3 litre was last years (actually a few years now as they stopped making them for a year)

the STX is double cab and the DX single cab.

i think he might mean older models. in which the dx came as a 3.0L. As far as i know youve got all the differences.

fella
just to clear up some confusion as i work at a nissan dealer ship
theres 2 models of navara on the market today
the d40 and the d22
the d22 came as a dx or st-r with a 3lt disel or 3.3 v6 petrol
the d40 comes as a rx or stx in 2.5 litre diesel or 4 litre v6 petrol
they both came in a single or dual cab
the one your talking about is a d22 (which is the older one which they have now since reintroduced with a new 2.5 diesel motor)
as it has already been said the difference between a dx and st-r is purely cosmetic one has a chrome grille, chrome mirrors, side steps, sports bar, painted flares and chrome rear bar and the other dosent
thats about it

I think you can add central locking to that list too. But yeah just cosmetic differences mostly.
