G'day all,

Just putting a 3" lift in the GQ and have a long range tank in (on the right hand side).

Now the right trailing arm is hitting the top of the long range tank, can I get angled trailing arms?? Or what am I meant to do??

Any help would be great, thanks a heap.

All good, got it sorted. Needs a curved control arm.

curved upper control arms will fix ur issue but also be aware of tailshaft hitting bottom corner of the aftermarket tank with articulation. modifacation of tank is how i solved this issue.

I made a curved upper arm for for my GQ, after a bit of punishment it broke on the bend ( i since have herd of others breaking as well) , so i have currently got the tank out and am cutting it down on the back to a 45 angle so i can run a straight arm which is allot stronger.

Yep got a curved arm in.

Because the diff sits about 12mm to the right (havent got a adjustable panhard in yet) the tailshaft does bang against the tank.

So a adjustable panhard will go in tonight and will take the tailshaft off and 'modification' will be done with a big hammer ;)

not trying to be a negitive to ur ideas, but just be careful "bashing" those tanks, especially near the welds as its easy to cause small cracks, or cause holes in the welds to open up and leak.
