Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey all

do the ballast's on hid lights get hot? is there any reason they can't be mounted on top of eachother? i have limited space for my ballasts on the roof lights bar and it would help if i could mount one on top of another one.

yes ballast get warm but you should allway be able to touch them I have fitted quite a lot of ballast back to back from 35w to our kick ass 80w one all I do is fit doulbe sided tape to one of them and then bolt the together ore you can just buy our new slim line ballast hope this help

As the missus says - it's not the thickness thats the issue, it's the length

gotta try and fit 4 ballasts in the space between 4 lights - i.e. 3 spaces, so i'm going to have to put two ballasts on top of each other in the middle space
