Just a quick question, on the weekend i tried to adjust the preload on the swivel hubs but when tried to take out the shims there was none. is this a simple case of just replacing the bearing and then shiming up. Thanks heaps in advance.
I search around but couldn't find an answer

Yes Dan. Replace the bearing if they need it, including the outer race. To do this you will need to remove axle from housing. Its a good idea to replace axle seal as well, even a whole new swivel hub kit if needed. Once you have fitted the new bearings get a range of shims from your Nissan dealer and set preload to between 0.6 - 1.75kg. I have just done this to my GQ, Good Luck
