howdy people,

I got a kit of washers to to fix up the leaks i got in the clutch and brake, But when i went to undo the clutch line, the bloody nut just got sick of being nut shpaed and thought that round was better.
I had drowned the thing in wd40 and some penetrating oil, but no luck. The thing that p&^%$ed me most was that i went for a walk and got an injector spanner that fitted it so that it didnt happen.

Should i just get the mutli grips on it and give it go that way.

Is that likely to jsut snap the whole thing off insdide the cylindar and then i'll need a new one of those and a new cultch line.

Or is there something that i'm missing.

ideas?

use vice grips 2 crack the fitting loose. should be fine after you crack it.

yeh that was sort of what i was thinking.

Im hoping that a new kit in it will stop it leaking and that i wont need to get a new assembly. I wanna spend money of doing mods. not more repairs then needed.

Sounds like the vice grips are in order now, but the right tool is a flare nut spanner, but they are usually difficult...

i didnt have vice grips at home, so i used a set of stiltsen's (spelling?????)

got it undone no worries.

The piston and springs exploded rather nicely when i took them all out and i then spent the next hour searching for the small spring.

Just got to bleed the system now and see if it works.
Thanks for the help.

Was just a little concerned about if it was ceased or jsut hard to undo.
