First get a copy of the Aus101 basemap, Magup (from Magellan) and then the FAQ PDF.

Pm or email (steven@ooa.com.au) if you want more direct info.

Us customs are taking there sweet time at present. If ordering anything from the us, pay for global priority air freight.

I get stuff from the us frequently. I would normally use the bog standard ground freight. Takes 2-3 weeks. Presently I have a number of items still waiting in customs from 6 weeks ago! Air freight, normally 5 days is taking about 10 days.

But take advantage of the exchange rate!!

Ive heard Magellan charge $300 dollars for there aus basemap to be put onto your GPS if it has the american or european basemap. The basemap use to be available on the net (magellan yahoo group i think?) but got taken of by magellan and ive been unable to find sumone else who has it on there website
Is it able to be transferred from one gps unit to another easily?

When one of you guys get your colour GPS, then look my way to off-load ya old one. I'm not fussed, a cheap used (but working) monochrome will do me :)
