tjm locker any good

Post by matto »

I will be getting a locker for my gu rear diff soon, are the tjm lockers good?
I ask because my local tjm dealer told me they had recalled some lockers due to faults in design but on the other hand i was talking to a bloke that works on diffs and gearboxs and he said hes fitted heaps of arb and a few tjm lockers and he reckons that the tjm are heaps stronger in design. Are there or was there any problems?

That surprises me that there are problems. The company building them has been doing so for a very long time. I also tend to think that many consider them to be as good as lockers get.

I have ARBs though JacMac's (TJM) would be my first choice - I didn't get them purely due to manufacture time and a broken car.
