Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Am looking to purchase a new 70 series but have 'heard' that there could be a model revamp shortly with modified interior for air bags etc????

Can any of the tojo insiders shed some light on this? I would be rather dissapointed if i coughed up my hard earned, only to have a revised model released shortly after.

Personally i can't see it myself as I would have thought they would do it prior to the model release last year after having the current interior for the past 17 years.

i think there is an anniversary edition coming out.

from what i have read the current moddel 79 series is only a temporary update to acomodate the new motor and a all new 70 series is due sometime 2009 to early 2010

First thing they'd want to do is put in a new rear diff for wider track to match the front. There's that many guys running illegal spacers in Queensland now it's not funny.

There is an airbag model coming out within the next 12 months. Im pretty sure the outside design wont change that greatly.

I would be guessing that the interior might cop some pretty serious changes but to accomodate the airbags.
